Attorney Andrew J. Golden (Managing Partner)
Attorney Golden is a 2009 graduate of Marquette University Law School, where he furthered the law school's focus on public interest and non-profit law by serving as the President of the Public Interest Law Society, overseeing an expansion of the summer fellowship program. During law school, he interned at Centro Legal and the State Public Defender's office, where he was actively involved in the defense of homicide and sexual assault cases.
He joined Lagmann in February of 2013 and currently focuses his practice on trial and appellate level criminal defense, juvenile law, CHIPS and JIPS, TPR cases, and mental health cases. Attorney Golden is also certified as a Guardian ad Litem, and is regularly appointed to represent wards in both adult and juvenile court proceedings.
Attorney Matt Plummer
Attorney Plummer is a 2011 graduate of Marquette University Law School. His practice focuses on family law, creditor/debtor law, guardianship and mediation. While in law school, he was a Public Interest Law Society Fellow, and also served as an intern for the U.S. Trustee’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Attorney Plummer joined Lagmann in November 2017 and focuses his practice on Guardianship and Criminal Law.
Thor Heidrek Templin, Administrator
Our administrator is a native of Milwaukee's near south side and graduate of South Division High School. Growing up bilingual with German and English in a Spanish-speaking neighborhood, he earned undergraduate and master's degrees in German and Scandinavian Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. After spending some years teaching German at UW-Madison and at Western Kentucky University (Bowling Green, KY), he moved back to Milwaukee and attended law school at Marquette University, where we represented Marquette at national and international mediation advocacy competitions, all the while concurrently working as a records clerk at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and completing a graduate certificate in Dispute Resolution. In addition to his law degree, he has a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University. He serves as a mediator (including family law mediations with or without attorneys) and the administrator for the firm.
